$7k for the PC!?!? You got ripped off dude!!! There is NO WAY that setup should have cost $22k. Other than the monitor I have a very similar setup and I’m in MAYBE $14k.

Tj, the monitor is too far from the DD2, fov seems wrong as well. Fix it and u will get better sim experience. One more tip, take out all the shaker and mount it on the seat. I had the same setup as yours, just that im on triple 27. If you need more tips, look out for facebook "dofrealitybuilders" group. Hope this helps!

I don't get why people spent all these money on a motion simulator and yet not bother to get a VR headset. It's a waste of money imo. Nothing can beat the presence of literally IN THE RACE than VR. No triple monitors or wide screen going to give you that feeling.

The PC isn't necessarily $7-8k. It makes sense to inflate the price to the maximum amount that is plausible so that you can write off the expense and reduce your tax burden. Just being completely honest (and maybe I shouldn't be), but I'm pretty sure that's what most people in a similar situation would do.

You're going to find yourself not using the screens but the vr headset instead. You can still navigate everything in vr ao a second screen isnt needed.

Last year I went to the Ferrari museum in Italy and I drove a full motion simulator and it is so fun I drove a f1 car on Monza track and going trough the the Turns is so fun I got the fastest lap Time in the under 16 category for that session

Just for the hell of it I looked up VR helmets. They actually make a DOT helmet with built in VR and sound. That would be the ultimate gaming set-up. Your wearing a helmet and you can look around and see everything. Too bad it's like $4,000.

Dont use chase camera you will struggle like hell use roof view or cockpit camera with real head motion as you have wide curved monitor trust me chase camera you dont get proper feedback for drifts
